US Premiere of "The Groupies" at Arts in April
Opening of The Groupies by Rolling Stone Photographer Baron Wolman Was Fun For All
In conjunction with Arts Council Napa Valley's annual Arts in April events, Baron Wolman, First Chief Photographer for Rolling Stone magazine, celebrated the opening of his new show, The Groupies, at The Markham Gallery on April 13th. This new show will be on display through June 30, 2013. Straight from its installation in London, this is the US debut of The Groupies.
In addition to the art show opening, Baron signed his latest book, Every picture Tells a Story-Baron Wolman-The Rolling Stone Years, for fans who attended the opening.

Enjoy a photographic retrospective of Rock n' Roll's biggest stars and events as captured by Baron Wolman and featured on covers of Rolling Stone. Admission is free. Show runs through December 31, 2013.
Legendary photographer Baron Wolman, first chief photographer for Rolling Stone magazine, personally autographed his new book following an Illustrated Lecture inside the Markham Vineyards historic Stone Cellar on April 14. Wolman’s intriguing insider’s access not only highlighted the beginning days of Rolling Stone magazine but also helped shape the times during the reign of some of the greatest icons of rock & roll during the 60s and 70s.
The Covers Show and other works by Wolman will be on display in the Markham Gallery throughout 2013. Stop by and visit us when you’re in the Napa Valley, do a little wine tasting and enjoy reliving the glory days of rock as you peruse our gallery.
