Petite Sirah

ST. HELENA DISTRICT
Napa Valley
$48.00 CLUB

Dark, opaque color will make you smile, but the vanilla and cotton candy aromas will make you swoon. The blackberry and plum jam fruit allow violet, tobacco and pepper spice notes to shine. The big tannins have amazing density, but there is plenty of plush fruit to keep the wine from feeling dry on the palate. Try a bottle with authentic BBQ brisket and enjoy the music.

I am proud to have worked with the family who own this historic Petite Sirah vineyard for nearly three decades. A hidden gem in the heart of St. Helena, always producing wines that remind me of singer, Joan Jett – a tight, little wine wrapped up in black leather!

Harvest Notes

  • Budbreak and bloom were on time after a late January chill.
  • Summer heat dried the soils quickly.
  • Small berry size and low yields made for dense and powerful flavor profile.
  • Our 40th vintage saw perfect harvest weather and incredible quality.
