THE BASICS
- All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult (21+ years) with a valid ID
- We recommend shipping to a business address
- Courier services will make three delivery attempts before the package is returned
- Wine cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO/FPO
- All online orders will be shipped
- Taxes will vary by location

WHAT WE CAN SHIP WHERE
Regretfully, due to state regulations, we CANNOT ship wine to the following states:
AK, AR, DE, IN, MS, NJ, OK, RI, UT
GENERAL SHIPPING OVERVIEW
All wine orders ship from California via FedEx, UPS, or, during warmer months, temperature-controlled services. We do our best to offer a variety of shipping options to help ensure your wine arrives safely. Please select the method that best suits your needs, especially during periods of extreme weather. Orders typically ship within 48 hours of the next available or selected shipping date. During summer or when using special delivery services, processing times may vary slightly. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your package is on its way. Should a shipment be returned, we’ll issue a full refund to the original cardholder, minus any shipping fees incurred by Markham Vineyards.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
Ground Shipping
Ground shipping is available to most states and is fulfilled by FedEx or UPS. This is our standard delivery option during times of the year with milder weather conditions. During summer, ground shipping is limited to select states* due to higher temperatures. Ice packs are automatically included with all ground shipments during these warmer months and are also available by request at other times of the year for an additional fee.
Most ground shipments arrive within 1 to 5 business days.
*Ground shipments within California typically arrive within 2 business days from the date of shipment.
2nd Day
2nd Day shipping is available in most states and is fulfilled by FedEx or UPS. Please note: this option is not available for orders shipping within California*. The 2nd Day shipping option is typically available year-round, though availability may be limited during the summer when alternative temperature-controlled services are offered in select regions. Ice packs are included with all 2nd Day shipments in the summer and can be added upon request at other times of the year for an additional fee.
Orders shipped via 2nd Day typically arrive within 2 business days.
*California shipments are sent via Ground and usually arrive within 2 business days.
Temperature Controlled Services (available for most states)
Temperature-controlled shipping is available to most states through specialized services offered by leading carriers. This refrigerated option is typically provided during the warmer months when extreme heat poses a risk. Utilizing purpose-built packaging and temperature-controlled transport from pickup through delivery, this service helps ensure your wine arrives in optimal condition. It may be set as the default or recommended option for certain regions.
Please note that temperature-controlled shipments may take longer than standard delivery and often carry additional fees reflecting the extra care provided.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping rates vary based on the location and service selected. Additional fees may apply for special services such as ice packs or temperature-controlled shipping. These fees are reflected at checkout.
ORDER TRACKING
Customers will receive emailed notifications about their shipment notifying them of shipment details and tracking numbers when the courier collects their package. In the process of delivery, you may be notified of each failed attempt to your account email. If you would like to arrange a redirect, contact customer services before the third attempt, otherwise you may be charged for shipping. Any shipments returned to us will be fully refunded to the credit cardholder less any shipping costs incurred by Markham Vineyards.
