THE BASICS
- All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult (21+ years) with a valid ID
- We recommend shipping to a business address
- Courier services will make three delivery attempts before the package is returned
- Wine cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO/FPO
- All online orders will be shipped
- Taxes will vary by location

WHAT WE CAN SHIP WHERE
Regretfully, due to state regulations, we CANNOT ship wine to the following states:
AK, AR, DE, IN, MS, NJ, RI, UT
GENERAL SHIPPING OVERVIEW
All shipped packages will originate from California. Wine is shipped via FedEx, UPS or seasonally with temperature controlled options. We will do our utmost to present a range of shipping options that will offer temperature protection for your wine package. Please select the option that works best for you to protect your purchase. Dependent upon the next available shipment date, or selected shipment date, all orders will leave the warehouse typically within 48 hours (times may vary depending on your selected shipping option during the Summer). Customers will receive emailed notifications containing shipment details and tracking numbers when the courier collects their package. Any returned shipments will be fully refunded to the credit cardholder less any shipping costs incurred by Markham Vineyards.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
Ground Shipping
Ground shipping is available in most states and will be carried out by FedEx or UPS. This is a typical shipping option available throughout most of the year when the weather is less extreme. During the summer months, ground shipping is only available in certain states*. Ice packs will be added to all shipments during the summer months, but they can be added to any ground shipment order by request during other times of the year. Ground shipped orders typically arrive within 1 to 5 business days.
*All ground shipped orders to and within California will typically arrive within 2 business days from a shipment date.
2nd Day
2nd Day shipping is available in most states and will be carried out by FedEx or UPS (CA* is excluded from the 2nd Day shipping option). This is a typical expedited shipping option available throughout most of the year when the weather is less extreme. During the summer months, 2nd Day may not be available to all states. Ice packs will be added to all 2nd Day shipments during the summer months, but they can be added to any 2nd Day shipment order by request during other times of the year. 2nd Day shipped orders typically arrive within 2 business days.
*All ground shipped orders to and within California will typically arrive within 2 business days from a shipment date.
FedEx Cold Chain – Temperature Controlled Service (available for most states)
Extreme heat can adversely affect wine during transit. FedEx Cold Chain temperature-controlled shipping is available to most states and will be carried out by FedEx Cold Chain service. This is a refrigerated shipping option made available during the summer months when the weather is extreme. The FedEx Cold Chain service utilizes purposeful packaging and temperature-controlled transport for pickup and delivery. The service may be used as default or as a recommended option for select states. All FedEx Cold Chain orders will be picked up and shipped after the next following Friday. Temperature-controlled shipped typically arrive within 5 to 15 business days.
ORDER TRACKING
Customers will receive emailed notifications about their shipment notifying them of shipment details and tracking numbers when the courier collects their package. In the process of delivery, you may be notified of each failed attempt to your account email. If you would like to arrange a redirect, contact customer services before the third attempt, otherwise you may be charged for shipping. Any shipments returned to us will be fully refunded to the credit cardholder less any shipping costs incurred by Markham Vineyards.
