Join Markham for the second of three fun summer events featuring Napa Valley’s female chefs!

Gather on Markham’s south patio for a pre-event pour before heading into the Historic Stone Cellar for a fabulous summer meal from Chef Duskie Estes that will include Black Pig BLT Salad, buttermilk fried quail and more. We’ll be choosing some special wines from both our library and Summer release collections to share with you! Enjoy the summer sunshine, beautiful Napa Valley views, delicious food and wine and live music by Brazilian & American duo Monica Da Silva & Chad Alger.

ABOUT THE CHEF

Duskie Estes

Duskie Estes is one of the chefs, farmers and ranchers behind Black Pig Meat Co and the Black Piglet food truck. She co-operated ZAZU Kitchen + Farm in Sonoma County for nearly two decades, racking up dozes of awards. A well-known culinary figure in Sonoma and Napa Counties, Duskie has been featured on the cover of Wine Spectator, Food Network’s Next Iron Chef, Guy’s Grocery Games, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Guy’s Ranch Kitchen, Beat Bobby Flay, and Alex v. America as well as on PBS, OWN, Discovery+, and the Visit California commercial.

Estes is a fierce advocate for food justice. In 2023, she received the NorCal Media Farm-to-Community Leader Award and the CVNL Heart of Sonoma County Leadership Excellence Award for her leadership rescuing fruits and vegetables from Sonoma County farms and backyards to feed marginalized families.
