OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Forever Green
Sustainability isn’t something we do — it’s who we are. It’s woven into the fabric of our being and considered at every touchpoint, from soil to fruit and cellar to glass. The character of our wines is intrinsically tied to the health of the soil and the vines, and we are committed to delivering excellence beyond just the wine inside our bottles.

Blackcurrant, clove, tobacco, and asphalt on the nose. Toffee and walnut, too. It’s full-bodied with firm, powdery tannins. Rich and chocolatey. Yet, it shows attractive firmness and austerity at the end. Try from 2022.

Sauvignon Blanc
90 pts “Best of Year” issue, Wine Enthusiast
With 3% Sémillon and mainly stainless-steel aged, this medium-bodied white is juicy and lengthy, likable in its immediate approachability. Pear, peach, and passion fruit highlight the experience on the palate, the wine made from certified sustainable grapes.

A Historical Vineyard
Markham's Heritage
Our founder, Jean Laurent, founds the winery in 1874 and — after finding success with his wines — builds the stone cellar in 1879 that remains the heart of Markham Vineyards today. Our namesake, Bruce Markham, grows the vineyard footprint, and in 1977 Markham Vineyards is born. Further making history, in 1990 Markham Merlot is named Wine of the Year and in 2001 Kimberlee Nicholls is named as one of the first female head winemakers in Napa Valley. Read more here.
