It’s not uncommon to see our winemaker Kim Nicholls rocking her iconic blue boots and kicking around new ideas. This unique Blue Boots bottling celebrates Kim’s creative spirit; always a blend from one singular Napa Valley AVA, but never the same year to year. For the 2022 Calistoga vintage, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot yields a nose of briary black raspberry and cherry jam, which jive with warm spice, toasty oak and distinct minerality.
