The Yountville district is close to my heart. Sitting centered in the heart of Napa Valley, it is where the very first grapevines were planted by George Yount and enjoys ideal growing conditions vintage after vintage.

Harvest Notes

  • 2017 brought floods, chill, heat and wildfire
  • Budbreak and bloom were on time after a late January chill
  • Summer heat dried the soils quickly
  • Our 40th vintage saw perfect harvest weather and incredible fruit quality
  • Fruit was safely cellared when the Oct. 2017 wildfires brought Napa Valley to a standstill
